World Fantasy Con
Brighton, England 30 October to 2 November 2025
Well it's only been three years since I last posted, and in that time so much has happened across the oft-bizarre spectrum of life. I've lost loved ones - both family and friends, taken very early retirement from a toxic environment and I've fallen down a bit too. Those hips ain't what they used to be!
Since my last post in 2022, I've re-evaluated who and what is important on an almost daily basis. The real life horror of the Covid pandemic, the unbelievable politics across the pond, and the descent of social media into frothing vats of raging bile - it's enough to make you want to hide under a rock. But I haven't.
I've sloughed off the repressive skin of the old day job and started to live without the fear.
I've travelled, made pottery, am learning the intricacies of bookbinding and... I'm finally writing again.
If anyone's interested, I've updated my publishing history to date. There may be a few new pieces to add soon. There may not. But as I'm attending World Fantasy Con in Brighton this week, with the great and the good of the writing, publishing and editing world, I thought I should get my act together. Just in case.
