Lily's Friday Prediction

The words that fell beneath my fingers this week evoked something decidedly Southern Old Money - I'll add my contribution later.

    That the old-timer had become my confidante was not that surprising. We'd become close ever since that reef diving trip.

    Some first mate he was, falling in while trying to get the half drunk brother of mine into the boat. I had to jump in after the old coot and keep him afloat until the boat circled back around.

    I guess you can't help but tell people things when you're saving their life.

    Funny. That experience brought me closer to my maker, he just laughed it off.

    He didn't see the sharks. I still haven't told him about them.
