I, too am pleased for her inspiration.

KimKimhttp://scratchypen.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7536979460489400599.post-22631839049392171012012-02-26T14:47:17.104+00:002012-02-26T14:47:17.104+00:00Bravo, Dorothy, that was an awesome story! I mean, doesn't everyone? It's a shame that horrible people are allowed to trample on our children.Cathy Olliffe-Websterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12729578896443750402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7536979460489400599.post-45267448388607177742012-02-26T12:33:33.306+00:002012-02-26T12:33:33.306+00:00Miss Woodville,

I cannot tell you how I love to see the abused stand up and give it right back. Thank you for continuing to write and for caring for the writers who turn to you. I am always excited to see your works featured. Have a gorgeous day.
MariettaMarietta Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11168584640510218423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7536979460489400599.post-67180058941429719532012-02-26T11:02:55.044+00:002012-02-26T11:02:55.044+00:00thanks for the good words, Anna! You know how sometimes something flows - apart from the blood, that is - this was one of them.
Lily, thank you so much for the introduction, which really touched me. I felt the bitterness created by that thoughtless teacher who should have known better. I've had knock-backs throughout my writing career and have tried to support other talented writers, knowing how much you can get hurt at times. I can be and have been cutting with people who should know better, some of the arrogance I have come up against has been unbelievable, but after 17+ years of editing and 30+ years of writing, I know talent when I see it.
The stories which appear by the week on the Prediction and the stories featured on FFF are talent, pure and simple. I am more than honoured to be among them.

DorothyAntonia Woodvillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12594229396805493611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7536979460489400599.post-5179940953336830152012-02-26T10:35:56.487+00:002012-02-26T10:35:56.487+00:00Ha ha, there's a lesson in that last line for ...Ha ha, there's a lesson in that last line for all of us! I enjoyed the story as I knew I would, but most of all, for me, it was the short, snappy retort of dialogue that was the icing on the cake. Thanks for this superb story, Dorothy. Absolutely loved it.AnnaHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06613497715202166330noreply@blogger.com
